In celebration of the upcoming AICon 2017 festival, the TasPop Committee is running a T Shirt design competition!
Eligible designs must include our mascots, Aiko and Ichiro, or our logo (reference images are posted in this event page) and make reference to AICon 2017’s theme – Myth and Magic. So dust off your tablet or pencils and sketch book and get drawing!
Entries will close at 8pm on Wednesday 7th of December and all entries will be revealed on the 8th of December.
Public vote will be open until December 14th to select the Top 5 designs and The AICon Committee will decide on the Top 3. The winner will be announced on December 15th.

Entry must be received by 8pm December 7th 2016 AEDT Entrants must be at least 15 years old and an Australian resident to participate.
Entries must be in PNG, GIF, or JPG file format; Entries must be no less than 300 DPI; Entries must have a bold solid line work that is suitable for printing, no thin or sketchy line work.
Designs must fit inside portrait A3 dimensions.
Entries must feature either Aiko and Ichiro or the AICon logo.
Entries must be limited to black and white designs.
Entries may originate from any visual medium as long as the line art is clean and strong, however digital mediums are preferred.
Entries may not use any large watermarks or small artist marks (credit will be acknowledged in convention booklet and website).
Digital entries only, hard copies will not be accepted.
Contestants may submit more than one entry (Max 3).
Artwork entered into this competition may not be entered into the Art competition and vice versa.
AICon/Tasmanian Popular Culture Society cannot guarantee that any entry will be used for the AICon 2017 t-shirt print.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 entries, however if the artwork isn’t of a suitable standard i.e. not fit for printing it will not be used for the t shirt print
Plagiarised or stolen artworks will not be accepted and will cause the artist to be put on a watch list for future competitions. If a work is found to be stolen or plagiarised after the announcement of the winners, prizes will be withheld/revoked and handed down to the runner(s) up. The offending artwork will be pulled from printing. AICon/Tasmanian Popular Culture Society will own the copyrights to any and all winning artworks selected for printing. The artist may display the artwork in physical or online portfolio’s (i.e. DeviantArt) however they may not reproduce or further profit from said artwork.
